Samsung Galaxy On5 and On7 smartphones launched in India


After launching its Tizen phone, Samsung is all set to bring in some more Galaxy devices in India. The Korean smartphone giant has now unveiled Samsung Galaxy On5 and Galaxy On7 in the country.
Coming over to the specifications, the Galaxy On5 comes with a 5-inch HD TFT display. The phone packs 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage, which is expandable by up to 128GB via a microSD card.
Much like the other mid-range phones in India, the Samsung Galaxy On5 is a dual-SIM phone and it supports 4G on both the SIMs. The smartphone carries an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper. It comes fitted with a 2,600mAh battery.
Priced at Rs 8,990, the Galaxy On5 will start retailing on Flipkart starting midnight. It will be available in Black and Gold colour options.
Moving on to the Galaxy On7, it comes with a 5-5inch display and a 3,000mAh battery. There is a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP one on the front. It is equipped with a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of on-board storage. Priced at Rs 10,990, this phone to will be available via Flipkart starting midnight.
During the Z3 launch, Samsung announced its partnership with popular music streaming app MixRadio. And both Samsung Galaxy On5 and the Galaxy On7 come pre-loaded with this music app.
